Hey, I’m James!

Although I am terrible at writing blurbs, I wanted to let you all know a little bit about myself. I am an experienced wedding and family photographer based in the pretty town of Frome in Somerset (but hopefully the rest of this site tells you that already!). So here’s 5 random facts about me:

• I live in Frome, Somerset with my beautiful wife, 4 year old boy and 1 year old little girl. Spending time with these three is my favourite thing to do on a free weekend

• I was once a child model and my picture ended up hanging in the Old Vic in Eastenders and on posters in Europe. I’ll always remember the excitement of seeing an image of myself on a poster for sale in a French service station as a young boy

• I am a real foodie (my favourite food is Thai!) and am an enthusiastic (but not very good) baker. My recent attempts have been focaccia’s to dip into olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and when they go right they taste incredible

• I love football and play 8 a side every week. I also share a season ticket with my dad at Manchester United (although the football recently has made the travel up and down to Manchester harder to take!)

• I love getting my hands dirty in my garden, trying to grow a mixture of fruit and veg each year and I have filled my garden with so many planters and trees. We only have a small garden but when it’s full of bees and birds it makes me so happy. That’s why, should you choose to book me for a wedding, I’ll plant a tree through the National Trust’s tree planting scheme - after all it all makes a difference to our little planet
